Mike and Sunye’s love story began about 45 years ago. After three months of dating, they decided to embark on a lifelong journey together. Many wonderful memories were created over the years with all the travel they embraced together, strong friendships made along the way and unbreakable family bonds. Mike spent his evenings cooking Sunye’s favorite meals and filling their home with warmth, laughter and love. Their story is a testament to the power of love that transcends time.

A proud Army veteran with 20 years of dedicated service. Mike had many tours overseas including Korea, Germany and Netherlands. In 1990, he was deployed in the Gulf War for six months providing logistics and support to the front line. Mike's military journey forged deep connections all around the world which he cherished immensely.

Mike joined The Knights of Columbus in 1995 faithfully serving the organization and his church. He acted as Grand Knight and District Deputy and was currently Baltimore Chapter Grand Knight Vice President. Mike helped the unfortunate in his community, stood guard at funerals, posted flags at special events, and showcased his culinary mastery by cooking for numerous special occasions and gatherings.

Despite many health challenges Mike’s vibrant spirit never wavered, and he continued to live and enjoy life to the fullest. A lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, he loved football, bowling, and golf. A true brother in arms and in the faith, he was a man who never met a stranger, leaving an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

He leaves behind four grandchildren who meant the world to him: Alexis Holt (17), Addalyn Holt (8), Matthew Little (11), and Luke Little (7).

May he rest in peace, and may you find comfort in the cherished memories you shared.
