Nicholas James Stein Sr.

Nicholas Stein, 82, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, kindness, and cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Nicholas was a retired Baltimore City police officer and later a retired salesman. Throughout his life, he was known not only for his dedication to his work, but even more so for the kind, loving, and giving person he was. He had a heart for people and never hesitated to offer his time, his help, or simply a kind word.

To his family, Nicholas was a source of love, strength, and joy. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who treasured the people he loved. He is survived by his two children, son Nicholas Stein Jr and wife Marsha Stein and Daughter Dorell Stein, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry his love and memory with them.

Those who knew Nicholas will remember his wonderful sense of humor, his kindness, and the love he showed so freely to everyone around him. But nowhere was that love greater than with his family. He had a special way of making the people he loved feel cared for, valued, and important.

His family will forever remember the laughter he brought into their lives, the kindness he showed to others, and the unconditional love he gave so generously. Though his passing leaves a tremendous emptiness, the love he shared will continue through his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those whose lives he touched.

Nicholas will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten.

Rest peacefully, Dad. Your humor, your kindness, and most of all, your love will live on in us forever.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday August 24, 2026, at 11 AM. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
