Paul Joseph Herr

Paul Joseph Herr, aged 83, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026, at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. He was born November 24, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Paul Albert Herr and Dora Vinci. He grew up in South Baltimore before joining the Army in 1964 where he served his time in Vietnam. He worked at several printing companies throughout his career but appreciated his retirement doing handywork. He enjoyed bowling and later on golfing. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Catherine Diane (Trawinski), his younger sister Carol Ann Miller (Herr) and brother-in-law Thomas E. Queen.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Lisa Marie Malle, her husband Ken Nickols and daughter Emily Catherine Malle, and Jennifer Lynn Erdman, her husband Justin Erdman and son Lucas Dean Erdman. He also leaves behind his beloved sister Rose Queen, brother Donald Herr and his wife Debbie, his brother-in-law Steven Spencer and his wife Michelle Viramontes, and his sister-in-law Sheri Spencer and her daughter Olivia as well as many nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit Paul at the family owned and operated McCully Polyniak & Collins Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, 11:00 to 1:00 pm. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 1:00 pm. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
