Ramiro Devera Casalda I: September 24, 1993 – June 14, 2023
Ramiro Devera Casalda I joined our creator on June 14, 2023. Ramiro was born to Ramiro Casalda and Jona Devera on September 24, 1993, in Baltimore, Maryland. He was deeply loved by his sister Angel and dog Hiko.
A proud member of the United States Air Force, Ramiro enlisted in 2015 and attained the rank of Senior Airman. He served his country with honor; he was stationed in New Jersey and Jordan, trained in Texas, and placed in the reserves at Andrews Air Force Base.
Ramiro’s heart was full of love and compassion. His family described “Buddy” as a kindhearted gentleman, with the biggest smile that would light up any room. A strong-willed nurse and Air Force veteran, he always advocated above and beyond to make life better for his patients, as well as for his fellow veterans. He carried the mantra to always, “just do what you can to help.”
Ramiro was part of the Casalda and Devera clans that covered the globe, headed by their grandmothers Ninfa and Alicia. His beautiful spirit will be missed by his uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, friends, and colleagues.
He is survived by his immediate family: Adonis and Teresa, Jason (Addy and Jason Jr.), Adonis Jr. and Paige (Cassie and Alex Marie), D’Vinci and Sarah (Austin and Ava), and Angelita (Andrew and Jeremy).
Family and friends are invited to the family owned and operated McCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Saturday June 24, 2023, from 10 AM-12PM (Noon) & 2 PM-4 PM. A funeral service with military honors will begin at 4 PM. Cremation to follow.
