Richard, "Rick" Bevans passed away unexpectedly December 28th, 2023. He was the beloved son to Patricia Bevans (nee Maher), the late Richard J Shifflett, and the late Donald Bevans. Also beloved brother to Carrie Bevans and Sandra Bowden

He was and will always be loved by all of his family and friends, who knew him for his contagious laugh and smile and his sense of humor.

He loved animals and according to one of the poems he wrote Pitbull kisses were the best. When he was growing up, he had an iguana named Buzz, than later a Siamese cat Skye, and his latest fur-baby Chuipi, who followed him everywhere. Years ago, he helped with fundraising for the Association For Animal Rights in Reisterstown, MD.

He was an alumni of Towson University with a Bachelors degree in Speech Pathology. He was a quick learner of different languages and even had written his own language. He passion was music, his CD collection is beyond what most people could ever imagine. He will be missed dearly by all and loved always.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00pm at which time a Memorial service will be held.
