Antlitz, Robert A. "Bob" beloved husband of 54 years to Patricia A. Antlitz, devoted father of Joyce L. Lusby and her husband Dana, Michael D. Antlitz and his wife Cheryl, dear brother of Elizabeth Pafel and Margaret Murphy, loving grandfather of Rachel Lusby, Scott Antlitz, Allison Antlitz and Brooklyn Antlitz. dear uncle to many cherished nieces and nephews,great-nieces and nephews and a true friend to many.
Bob was born in Maryland on March 5, 1942 to George and Irene Antlitz and died on January 18, 2018 at his Pasadena home. He graduated from the Mergenthaler High School in Baltimore in 1960 and then attended Johns Hopkins University where he graduated in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Bob also served in the U. S. Army as a Sergeant during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1972. He began his career working for Lockheed Martin for 20 + years before retiring in 2004. Bob enjoyed traveling with his family and friends; he especially enjoyed trips to Disney World with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing with his children, as well as participating in coaching them in baseball, softball, science fairs and scouts. In addition to spending quality time with family, he was hard working and dedicated to any project given to him.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 PM. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake 90 Ritchie Highway Pasadena, Maryland 21122.
