Robert William Miller (Butch)
May 3, 1943 - December 11, 2023
Robert (Butch) Miller was a long-time resident of Pasadena, Maryland, the love of my life passed to a better place on December 11, 2023. He was born and raised in Pasadena by his Mother-Arlene (Martin) Shumaker, who was born in Boswell, Pennsylvania, Robert’s biological father-Noah Daniel Miller born in Jenners Township, Pennsylvania, but passed 6 weeks after Butch was born. His mother raised Butch by herself until she met his (Stepfather) Curtis Shumaker, who adopted and raised Butch as his own son.
Butch was a kind and gentle man who loved the water, boating, and being near the water, and had a love of Vintage cars and had many Corvettes in his lifetime. He enjoyed snowmobiling and traveled to Canada to snowmobile and Pennsylvania where we enjoyed many wonderful trips and memories of snowmobiling with friends and family in Laurel Pennsylvania. Some other enjoyments were his Sunday drives with his wife just cruising around in some of his vintage cars and taking in the beautiful sights and Old Car Shows.
He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia L Miller (Borkoski) of 37 years of marriage, and together since 1977, and his loving daughter Ashley (Miller) Fallon
Butch worked in commercial credit in his younger life, and then enjoyed for 15 years plus selling Cars at JBA Chevrolet in Glen Burnie and with being such a great people person and his Charisma he did very well in that career. He was truthful and honest with people, and we believe his success was due to his honesty and kindness.
In addition, he was a loving husband to his wife and caring father to his daughter Ashley and had a special devotion to his Grandchildren-Stella and Winter.
A celebration of Butch's life will be held at a later date.
