Robert William Dennett, Sr. beloved husband of 69 years to Ida C. Dennett, devoted father of Robert W. Dennett, Jr and his wife Donna of Millersville, John N. Dennett and his wife Diane of Eldersburg and Bruce E. Dennett of Eldersburg, dear brother of Richard Bowley of Florida, loving grandfather of Sarah Huber of Massachusetts, Rebecca Dennett of Baltimore and Andra Dennett of Owings Mills, loving great-grandfather of Ezri Huber of Massachusetts.
Bob was born in Maine on March 5, 1931 to his parents Nelson and Alice Dennett and died at his Pasadena residence on January 1, 2021. Bob served in the Navy for 5 years after which he began working for BGE for the next 38 years retiring as a Electric Systems Operator. Bob started the first Boy Scout Troup at Christ Lutheran Church and also the first Boy Scout Troup in the Cape St. Claire School. He was a volunteer for the Lutheran Mission Society and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Bob enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing, hunting and loved being outdoors.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Tuesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM in the Christ Lutheran Church 8249 Jumpers Hole Road MILLERSVILLE. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens DAVIDSONVILLE. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church 8249 Jumpers Hole Road Millersville, Maryland 21108 or the Lutheran Mission Society.
PLEASE NOTE THE FUNERAL HOME CAN ONLY ALLOW UP TO 25 % CAPACITY OR 35 PEOPLE INSIDE AT A TIME. THE FUNERAL HOME REQUIRES A FACE MASK OR COVERING TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.
