Robert Elmer Hammer

Robert Elmer Hammer, 98, passed away on November 3, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine Hammer; loving father of Robert Gerald, the late Doris May and the late Robert Elmer Hammer; dear grandfather of 6, great-grandfather of 8 and great-great grandfather of 10. 

Robert grew up in South Baltimore but eventually settled in Pasadena where he has lived for many years. He enjoyed horses, playing craps and building houses. He was a diesel mechanic by trade and always worked two jobs. He also enjoyed going to Faith United Methodist Church. He will be dearly miss by all.

Family and friends are invited to visit the family owned and operated McCully Polyniak & Collins Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland on Thursday November 6, 2025, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Where a funeral service will be held on Friday November 7, 2025, at 11:30AM. Interment Baltimore National Cemetery.
