Robin Wojtanik of Pasadena, MD was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, nurse and friend. Robin passed away unexpectedly at home on November 18, 2021 at the age of 65.
Robin was born in Buffalo, NY and attended Maryvale High School in Cheektowaga, NY, where she met her husband and soulmate Jim. They were married in 1977 and raised four children in Pasadena. Robin lived her life helping others. She was always just a phone call, text message, or short drive away. She was always there to listen and offer advice. Robin enjoyed time at the pool, cozy nights at home beside the fire, walking at the park, and biking. She loved crafting and surprising us with her handcrafted birthday cards. Above all else, she loved, cared for, and provided for her family. Her favorite memories include vacations to Maine and San Francisco with her husband, birthday and holiday meals with her family, and spoiling her grandchildren with all her heart. Many of the pictures we have of her are with a kid or two on her hip and at her side. Her memory is survived by her husband James Wojtanik; children Sara (Jon) Kelly, Amber (Kenneth) Hopkins, James and John; mother Dolores Borman; sister Karen Hobensack; grandchildren Madison, Tyler, Lucas and Conor; and her New York and Ohio families.
A private Memorial Mass will be held with immediate family members at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association (clickable link below)
