ROLAND JOHN HORNE on October 22, 2014. Roland was preceded in death by his parents Duncan and Rose Mary Horne. He is survived by wife Ellen Horne; children Laura Horne, Jane Gillespie, Joseph Horne and Ryan Horne; sister Mary Watkins; brother James Horne; grandchildren James and Ava Gillespie. Roland was a longtime Usher at the Church Of the Crucifixion in Glen Burnie. He was a hard worker who enjoyed doing work around the house and he loved his family.
Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) on Saturday from 12-2PM. A funeral mass will take place on Monday at 10 AM at the Church of the Crucifixion 100 Scott Avenue Glen Burnie, Maryland 21060. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation in the name of Roland J. Horne be made to the American Cancer Society 2324 Davidsonville Road Gambrills, Maryland 21054.
