Ron, as he was known by most, was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He spent many of his formidable years in North Dakota with his grandparents, aunts and uncles. After graduating High School, he enlisted in the Air Force. In the Air Force Ron became an Air Force Military Police Officer. He then came home and married his beloved wife of 62 years Martha, whom he had known most of his life.

Ron received a business degree in college and worked as a trucking dispatcher. He also did taxes at HR Block in later years.

Ron and Martha were blessed with 3 children: Debbie (Dwayne), Ronnie (Stacey) and Jason (Teresa). He is survived by 11 grandchildren; Jessica (Michael), Scott, Hillary (Jamie), Rachael, Brooke, Brian, April, Jessie, Lilly, Jacob and Jordan; 7 great grandchildren Gavin, Reagan, Tanner, Michael Scott, Jr., Henry, Jonah and Grayson; sisters Lucille and Sarah; brothers Paul, Richard, and Jerry; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and his little dog Jack.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Eileen, Martha and Lily Ester aka Skeet.

Ron was a faithful member of the Church of God organization. He served as treasurer and in bus ministry at Brooklyn Church of God for many years. Faithfully attending Chesapeake Christian Center for the past 10 years.

Ron was known for his quirky sense of humor. He could often be found in his favorite recliner with his dog Jack at his feet.

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. Isiah 40:30.
