Roxanne E Dixon White

Roxanne Elizabeth (Gibbs) Dixon White passed away July 13, 2025. Known for her big heart, loud personality and warm smile, she will be remembered by all, especially her girls.

Born on October 27, 1957, in Baltimore, Roxanne was a lifetime resident of Maryland. She was born to Calvin & Lillian Gibbs of Pasadena. She is survived by her sister, Tania Dee (Gibbs) Falls of Gambrills.

She is also survived by her 3 daughters, Kristin Dixon of Baltimore, Shannon Dale of Lothian, Megan Dixon of Edgewater, 8 grandchildren: Genessa, Corinne, Dylan, Lindsay, Joshua, Dominic, Annmarie, Leah and 1 great granddaughter Ella Rose.

Formerly Roxanne Gibbs, she was raised in Pasadena and graduated from Northeast High School in Pasadena in 1975.

Roxanne spent her early years as a bank teller until she became a wife to Donald "Buddy" Dixon in 1976 until 1995. She became a mother in 1981 and took on the job of a full-time homemaker. She then did at home daycare for many years helping to raise many children that became like family growing up.

She also worked at AC Beverage doing data entry for many years and ended her working career at Shoppers.

Later in life, she met her second husband in 2000 Justin “Andy” White in which she married in 2011 and was his wife until his passing in 2024. She also gained a stepson Forrest "Jacob" Lamanna.

Roxanne loved animals, especially her dogs. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids and spending time at the river with her husband.

Roxanne loved to laugh and to make people laugh. She had a big voice, big personality, and a big laugh that people would recognize from a mile away. She would light up any room she walked in. Most of all She had a big heart! Her heart touched many people and animals in her lifetime. She will be remembered with love by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. A Memorial service will begin at 4:00 pm.
