Ruby Mae “Tootie” Gribble, 79, a lifelong resident of Anne Arundel County, passed away October 1, 2023 at her home in Millersville.
Tootie was born on April 22, 1944 in Maryland to the late Roscoe and Elnora Singleton. She enjoyed Bingo, playing poker and spades, as well as Scrabble. She was the nicest person you could ever meet and loved her family dearly.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gribble is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Doyle Gribble, Sr and her grandson, Cody Gribble. She is survived by her children, Doyle (Christina) Gribble Jr, Dawn (Dan) Maynard, and Nancy Gribble, and her grandchildren, Michael (Rachel) George, Heather (Greg) Bees, Faith (Rick) Peeples, Ethan Gribble, Andrew (Kayla) Maynard, Kristen Maynard, Natasha Phillips, and Annabelle Phillips, and ten great grandchildren. Ruby was preceded in death by her brothers Gene Singleton, Don Singleton, Clay Singleton, Pete Singleton, Ronnie Singleton, Larry Singleton and Gary Singleton. She is survived by sisters Nancy Hood of Odenton, Maryland and Sharon Faulkner of Millersville, Maryland.

Where a funeral service will be held on Monday October 9, 2023 at 12 Noon. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
