Ruth Edna Dean

Ruth Edna Dean, beloved wife of the late William L. Dean, devoted mother of Terri J. Zornak and her husband Steve and the late Sharon Switzer, dear sister of the late Frank Steinat, Alfred Steinat, Robert Steinat, loving grandmother of Weston Switzer, Will Zornak, Krystal Zornak, Mandy Zornak, and her partner Josh Evans, Steve Zornak, Jr. and his wife Judy and Megan Zornak, loving great grandmother of Kaeleb Zornak. Also survived by many relatives and friends.

Ruth was born in Washington D.C. on January 16, 1948, to her parents Gustav and Herta Steinat and she passed away in the Hospice of the Chesapeake on May 27, 2026.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 11:00 am. Interment Lakemont Memorial Park Cemetery.
