Sandres Junior Mann was born on February 23, 1950, in Lena, Mississippi, to the late Robert Junior Mann and Evelyn Morgan Peoples. He entered into rest on November 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Sandres was a devoted husband, older brother, father, uncle, and grandfather. Andres honorably served his country for a total of 44 years. Drafted during the Vietnam War on August 16, 1968, he went on to serve seven years in the United States Air Force and four years in the United States Army. He continued his lifelong commitment to public service with a distinguished 33-year civilian career with the Department of the Army. He retired in 2021 as the Director of Resource Management at Fort Meade, Maryland. In 1984, Sandres earned a master’s degree in public administration from Brenau University. He embodied a growth mindset and encouraged those around him to think critically and creatively. Known as an avid reader, scotch connoisseur, scholar, world traveler, and follower of current events — he approached life with curiosity and intellect. A Mann of many passions, he was a car enthusiast and a devoted lover of blues, jazz, and R&B.He is survived by his beloved wife, Nora Montevirgen Mann; his children—Sandres (Adnana), Jamilla, Kevin, and Elli; his siblings—Kevin (Kristin) Mann, Jerry (Fred Anthony) Mann, Dorothy Mann, Okneco Hallman, Oyoko Armstrong, Anzetta Mann, Denise Azeez, Peggy Boyd, Patricia Nell (Andrew) Baskerville, William Earl (Labarbara) Peoples Jr., and Glen (Crystal) Peoples; his grandchildren—Mia, Ajna, Uma, and Zana; and extended family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on (DUE NOTICE OF VISITATION AND SERVICE TIMES WILL BE GIVEN). Interment Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
