Sara Bunch

Sara Jean Cummings Bunch, 42, died Monday, June 11th, 2018, at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, MD, following a sudden illness.
Sara was born February 29, 1976, in Vinton, Iowa, the daughter of William Craig Cummings and Elaine Marie Rhinehart. She graduated from high school in Garden City, Missouri and attended Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Sara had been working in the Records Department at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore. She enjoyed her two cats: Mugen and Revi, spending time with her friends, baking, gaming, anime, reading romance novels, and donating supplies to a friend’s kindergarten classroom in Baltimore City every year.
Sara is survived by her wife, Meagan Bunch, of Pasadena, MD; father, Craig Cummings, of Vinton, IA; grandparents Bill and Faye Cummings of Vinton, IA, maternal grandfather, Robert Rhinehart; brothers William Robert Cummings of Vinton, IA, and Eric Paul Cummings of Robins, IA; half-siblings Danielle Cummings of Marion, IA, Brett Sorrell of Houstonia, MO, and Chris Sorrell of Creighton, MO; step-sister Kelli Cummings of Dubuque, IA; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine; step-mother, Lori Cummings; an uncle, Doug Cummings; and her maternal grandmother.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) on Saturday June 16, 2018 for a Gathering from 12-1 PM. At 1 PM we will begin A Time Of Remembrance in honor of Sara.
