Scott Bradford Carter, Suddenly on March 24, 2026, beloved husband of Michael A. Carter, devoted father of Preston Scott Carter and his fiancé Jennifer, Jeremy Scott Carter, dear brother of Amy Thompson and her husband Chuck, loving grandfather of Landon Carter, loving son of Charles Edward Carter and the late Margaret Ann Carter, dear son-in-law of LeRoy and Jeanne Jones, dear brother-in-law of Jeffrey Jones.
Scott lived a life marked by perseverance and quiet strength. He was just a couple of months short of celebrating eight years of sobriety—a milestone that reflected his deep commitment to growth, honesty, and living with intention. As he learned to live his life all over again, challenges remained, and in some ways became harder. Still, Scott met them with resilience and quiet courage. Along the way, he reconnected deeply with his faith and held to it faithfully, allowing it to guide him through both struggle and hope.
