Shane Thomas West

Shane West, one of God's bright lights was called home on October 10th. Although, the light may be dimmed it will never be extinguished as the ever present smile on Shane's face will shine for anyone who witnessed it. Suffice it to say there is a multitude of people who loved him, a list that includes pretty much anyone who ever met him. Shane was fortunate to have been adopted into two loving families. Correction, two loving families were fortunate and blessed to have Shane join them. Shane was preceded in death by first mom, Rosemary Janey and brother Ray West. Shane is survived by mom, Connie West, dad, David West. Eighteen brothers, John, Gary, Kevin, Kurt, Robert, Trayvon, Lannie, Anthony and Terry Janey. David, Douglas, Jason, Jesse, Anthony, Xavier, Reggie, Marcus West and sisters, Bianca and Abigail West. Though gone way too soon he will never be absent from our hearts and mind.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCully Polyniak & Collins FUneral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Wednesday October 15, 2025 from 4-7 PM. At which time a funeral service will begin.
