Pasadena

Sharon Ann Walters, a longtime resident of Pasadena, passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 71. She was born on November 30, 1954, in Baltimore, and will be remembered as a loving and selfless woman whose life was centered on caring for others.

Sharon was a homemaker in the truest sense of the word, creating a home filled with warmth, comfort, and love. She was known as “Mom Mom” to everyone, a reflection of the way she welcomed people in and made them feel cared for. Her greatest joy was found in her children and grandchildren, and she treasured the time spent with her family above all else.

Those who knew Sharon will remember her for her big heart and her gentle way of bringing people together. She was a peacekeeper, always wanting to make everyone happy and always putting others before herself. Her selfless spirit touched many lives, and her kindness will be carried in the hearts of all who loved her. She also loved to make crafts with her grandkids and help them participate in her famous cussing Wednesday.

Sharon is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Joseph R. Walters, Sr.; her children, Joseph R. Walters, Jr., Tina Grimes, Eric Walters, and Kristy Teal; and by the family members and loved ones who were blessed by her care, her steady presence, and her unconditional love.

Sharon’s memory will live on in the home she built, in the family she cherished, and in the many lives made better by her compassion. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
