Stephen J. Zaleskiwicz, a resident of Glen Burnie, who passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 86, born in (Locust Point), Baltimore, February 4, 1939, he lived on Haubert Street his entire childhood. Beloved husband to the late Irma White, he was known around Charles Street as the neighborhood dad, loved by all. He served our country as a MP in the U.S. Army at Westpoint and always had pride for his country.
He loved all things cars, from working on them at his shop, Jack’s Garage, to watching racing, to attending car shows. His favorite pastime however was getting crabs with his children or ice cream and cake with all his grandchildren. His stories were well known and could go on for hours, he always thought he was the funniest guy in the room and was a true ladies’ man. His love for his hometown sports was unbound, a diehard Ravens and Orioles fan forever.
He is survived by his children, Maggie, husband Mitch, Pam, Steven-John, Mary, (Tim), David, wife Connie, his late daughter Kimmy and late son-in-law Paul. He was a loving grandfather to Bobby, Andrew, Jessica, Tony, Larry, Shannon, Anthony, Eric, Tiffany, Melanie, and Haylie. His great-grandchildren Kathy, Savannah, Tony, Sonya, Harper, Lucas and Grace.
Dear brother to David, Snookie, Angie, and the late Alex. He will also be remembered by family and friends.
