On August 17th 2023, the world unexpectedly lost a beautiful soul, Stuart “Stu” A. Sweitzer, at the age of 66. He will be forever remembered as a beloved husband of 30 years to Juanita M. Sweitzer, a loving father and mentor to his children, Smiley Sweitzer, Amber Sweitzer, and Adam Sweitzer, a compassionate “Pop Pop” to his grandchildren, Lucas Sweitzer, Raelyn Thomas, and Jamie Thomas, a kindhearted brother to sisters Deborah Vernon and Diane Nichols. He is joined in passing with his parents Claude Sweitzer and Rosalind Sweitzer, his son Stuart Sweitzer Jr, his brother Jeffery Sweitzer and sister Allyson Walsh. He spent over 30 years as an aerospace engineering technician for NASA. He was exceedingly passionate about his work and would have perfected the world if he could. Stu was also an avid and very talented billiards player. He and his wife Juanita shared their love of music, and the joy it brought them. Through their Karaoke business, they built a loving and accepting community of friends and loved ones. Stu was a proud husband and father who told anyone within earshot about his loving family. His friendliness, easy-going personality and aerospace genius will be missed by all who knew him.
