Susan Lynn Carson

On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, Susan Lynn Carson (nee Drasher) unexpectedly departed Earth. Susan (Susie) was born on March 1, 1960 to Mary Regina Young (nee Clarke) and the late Stanley Drasher. Susie was raised in Glen Burnie along with her 4 sisters. Susie graduated from Martin Spalding High School in 1978. On April 6,1979 she married Brian Lee Clark, Sr. That union gave our family the gift of their sons Brian Lee Clark Jr. and Michael Lee Clark.

On September 17, 1994, she married Ollie “Butch” Carson, and they relocated to Delta, PA. Susan and Butch were lovingly married until her passing.

Susan is preceded in death by her father, Stanley Drasher.  She is survived by her parents William & Mary Regina Young, her beloved husband Butch Carson, her devoted sons, Brian Clark and Mikey Clark (Becca), step-daughter Angie Carson, 5 precious grandchildren, Abby, Emily, MJ, Noah and Everly, her loving sisters, Donna Grizzle (Art), Denise Legg, Lisa Siske and Patty Alongi (Gino), her nieces & nephews – Artie (Bubba) Grizzle (Courtney), Samantha Grizzle, Andrew Siske (Ashlynn), Bryan Siske (Brooke), Brad Siske (Nikki), Molly LeQuang (Nathaniel) Maggie Alongi, her very dear friends, John & Sandy Alamilla and her former husband Lee Clark.  She is also survived by her great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and family friends.  

May Eternal rest be granted unto her, O’Lord and may her soul and the souls of the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon her.

Family and friends are invited to visit the family owned and operated McCully Polyniak & Collins Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Sunday October 5, 2025, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Catholic service will be held on Monday October 6, 2025, at 11 AM. Cremation to follow.
