In loving memory of Teresa Ann (Hunter) Cecil 

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Teresa A. Cecil on September 8th, 2024, at 67 years old. Teresa was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 21, 1956, to the late Paul and Bessie Hunter. Along with her parents, she was reunited with her older sister Hilda V. Starcher, and younger brother Paul J. Hunter. Teresa grew up in Pasadena, Maryland where she enjoyed water activities, crafting, and spending time with her family. After graduating from Northeast High School in 1974, she worked as an accountant for NSA and several other government agencies. A hard working, devoted mother, sister, and grandmother, she is survived by her loving son Paul E. Cecil (Ashley Cyprowski), daughter Stephanie C. Cecil, younger brother Jerome Hunter, and her 5 grandchildren. After retirement, Teresa enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, walking her dog, and any social gathering where she could meet friends, which came easy for “Tee”, as she was known. To know her was to love her. We ask family, friends and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Teresa to join us in celebrating her life on at McCully Polyniak and Collins Funeral Home in Pasadena on September 14, 2024, at 3-5 pm and again at 7-9 pm.
