Timothy L. Thomas passed away peacefully at his home in Pasadena MD on November 29, 2025, while listening to "Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World" by “Iz.” Born in St. Mary’s, Pennsylvania, on December 13, 1950, Tim was the cherished son of Harry and Ethel Thomas.

Tim dedicated 21 years of his life to serving his country in the U.S. Navy, where he rose to the rank of First Class Radioman. His commitment and leadership led him to his final Navy assignment as a Career Counselor in Annapolis, MD. Throughout his service, Tim created many cherished memories, with one of his most treasured experiences being stationed in Scotland alongside his family.

After retiring from the Navy, Tim continued his professional journey, joining the Kane Company as a limousine dispatcher. He served in this role with the same dedication and reliability that defined his military career, ultimately retiring from the company in 2016.

After his service, he continued to enrich the lives of those around him with his humor and warmth. A passionate fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tim found great joy in spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, visiting casinos, and sharing memories from his time in the Navy. His jokes and laughter were a constant source of happiness for those who knew him.

Tim is survived by his beloved wife, Ginger A. Thomas. He was a devoted father to son Christopher L. Thomas and his wife, Gretchen Stelger, daughter Jennifer A. Schwartz and her husband, Robert. He was a loving “Pops” to Lucas Schwartz and his wife, Sierra, granddaughter, Robyn Schwartz and great-grandson Levi Schwartz.

He is also survived by his loving sister, Rebecca Fryxell, and his cherished cat and friend till the end, Rusty Gerald. Many other relatives and friends also mourn his loss.

Tim was preceded in death by his brothers, Harry “Jim” Thomas and Arnold "Butch" Thomas.
