Welford C. "Pal" Meyers, died at his Millersville residence on December 14, 2019, he is the beloved husband of 46 years to Darlene Meyers, loving father of Nichole Chambers, her late husband Donald Chambers III, Kelly Cockrell, and her husband Les Cockrell, loving son of the late Frederick Meyers and Cleta Hornberger, dear brother of Shirley Pumphrey. Pal preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Meyers and sister Gloria Robinson. Loving Grandfather of Donnie Reightler, Michelle Brown, and her husband Tony Brown, and Eathan Chambers, loving great grandfather to Brianna, Zoey, Mackenzie, Cayden & Jordan. He leaves behind nephews and nieces, amazing family and friends who adored him.
Pal grew up in Baltimore, and resided in Millersville. He was in the Air Transport Squadron in the US Navy as a radioman and worked for the MDDOT. He absolutely loved baseball and football, enjoyed drinking beer, fishing & crabbing, liked to visit the state parks and play poker with his family. He was a member of the Elks, American Legion and Moose. Appreciated all the Maryland Seafood, traveling with his wife, and cherished his time with his daughters and grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Tuesday 7 to 9 PM Only. Where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 Noon. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice
