William Hornberger

William "Bill" Edward Hornberger from Pasadena beloved husband of the late Dorothy Mary Hornberger entered heavens gate on January 19, 2018.  He is survived by five daughters. Kathy Thompson, husband Mike, Kimberley Shaw,  husband Alan, Kay Bergeron, husband Roger, Kelley Lemons, husband David, Karla Finch husband Jan. Grandchildren Katie Thompson,Krista Ochoa, Roger, Bill and Zachary Bergeron,  Kristy Mawn, Kelsey Shaw, Kimi Dalton, Richard, Kayley and Robert Lemons, Karlie and JanMichael  Finch. Great grandchildren Kinley and Aubrey Mawn and Benjamin and Caroline Ochoa.  In addition to many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

William was born on May 13, 1940 to the late Elizabeth and Clarence E. Hornberger and was raised by his Mother and Step Father William Jakubowski.  He is survived by his Brother Paul Hornberger and wife Candace Hornberger and late Brother Harry Hornberger and his wife Patricia Hornberger.
William entered the United States Marines in 1958 and was honorably discharged in March of 1966.  William and Dorothy were wed on September 17, 1960 and happily married for 57 years until Dorothy's passing on October 4, 2017.  He worked as a Long Shoreman at Dundalk Marine Terminal until retirement in 2000 and was a proud member of ILA Local 333.   He loved living on the waterfront and enjoyed boating.  He was extremely patriotic, loved his fireworks, and his huge 4th of July parties, where he cooked his famous crab soup.  He will be missed by many.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Tuesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
