William Walter Phillips III

William Walter Phillips III, 82, of Baltimore, MD passed away surrounded by loved ones in prayer on September 12, 2023. Walt was born on May 3rd, 1941 to the late William W. Phillips Jr. and Dorothy A. Pennewell. He is remembered with love by his wife of 62 years, Winifred Louise Phillips, daughters Winnie L. McNaney, the late Amy L. Phillips and Jennifer A. Immler, son - in - law Jearld T. Immler.  Grandfather of Jessica L. McNaney, Stephanie N. McNaney, Andrew J. Immler, Mason C. Immler.  Great grandfather of Jayce J. Lewis, and Triton A. Hess. Beloved brother of Dorothy Carol Scott, Ronald Scott, Barbara A. MacNamara, James MacNamara, Vernon Joseph Phillips, Diana Phillips, David L. Phillips, Cindy Phillips, Jean M. Fogle, Charles Fogle, Thomas E. Phillips, and Vickie Phillips.  He is cherished by many nieces and nephews.  He attended St. Mary’s Star of the Sea and retired from the Coca-Cola Company of more than 30 years.  He was a devoted husband, loving father, treasured brother and a special friend to many.   He loved nature, especially fishing, bluegrass music, pigeons and his family.  Walt is with the Lord, Our Savior and is rejoicing in Heaven and he would probably say as he did many times, “ You’re always welcome."

Where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday September 20, 2023 at 10 AM. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
