William Squires, Sr.

William Franklin Squires, Sr. “Will,” age 85, passed away from this life on October 23, 2022, at Baltimore- Washington Medical Center from kidney cancer and renal failure.  He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 20, 1937, to the late Leonard Squires, Sr. and the late Ida May (Jenkins) Squires.  He resided in Pasadena, Maryland.  He served in the US Army from 1962-1966.  He had 2 years of college and was a Technical Writer/Engineer at Westinghouse for most of his career. At 26 years old he married the love of his life, Sharon Lea (Countess) Squires, and went on to have 2 beautiful children. He lived a full life often enjoying watching Ravens’ games, attending all of his grandchildren's’ sports and events, hand crafting intricate tall ship models, greeting at his church Galilee Lutheran Church, fishing, crabbing, and he treasured being with his family. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sharon Lea (Countess) Squires; his son William Franklin Squires, Jr. and his wife Robynn Squires; his daughter, Karen Lynn (Squires) Bowman and husband Earl Bowman; his grandchildren, Kelsey (Squires) Lennon and husband Collin Lennon, Kyle Squires and wife Breanne Squires, and Kayla Bowman; his great grandchildren, Lucille Lennon, and Bodie Squires; and his brother, Grafton Squires and wife Janice Squires.  He is predeceased by his parents, Leonard Squires, Sr. and Ida May (Jenkins) Squires; his brother Leonard Squires, Jr.; and his sisters Elsie (Squires) Eckart, and Ethel (Squires) King; along with many other extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. PASADENA on Friday 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 am. Cremation services to follow
