Wyndham Eugene Colley

On August 31, 2025, Wyndham E. Colley of Whaleyville, Md. passed away peacefully in Salisbury Maryland after his battle with Alzheimer’s . Wyndham was the beloved husband of Virginia Kay Colley, father of Sabrina Burns, Phillip Colley [Dorothy], Lisa Carroll [Jimmy] and Lorraine Morton [John]. Loving grandfather of Debra Cobb, Jaime Goodman, Richard & Pam Carroll, Victoria Reeves [Trey], Christy Carroll, Michelle & Michael Poste and Victor Geogheganl. He also had great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends that will miss him. He was preceded in death by his wife Kay Colley, parents Thomas & Georgia Colley, mother-in-law Dorothy Love, Brothers, James Colley, Denton Colley, Edward L. Colley, Edward E. Colley, sisters Thames Kawha, Eleanor Holmes and Janie Allison.

In 1936, Wyndham was born to Thomas & Georgia Colley at home in Saltville Va. He stayed in Saltville and started working at United States Gypsum Corporation in Plasterco, Va. After 43 years he retired from USG in Baltimore, MD. Later he relocated to Maryland’s eastern shore.

Wyndham had many friends that will miss his wittiness and smile.

Friends and family are invited to visit Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at The Burbage Funeral Home, 108 Williams St. Berlin, MD 21811 and Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at McCully, Polyniak & Collins Funeral Home,P.A. 3204 Mountain Rd. Pasadena, Md. 21122.

The Celebration of Life will be Friday September 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at McCully, Polyniak, & Collins Funeral Home, P.A. in Pasadena. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie, MD.
