Yoshiko Hollenack died peacefully on April 17, 2024. She will be remembered lovingly by her husband, George W. Hollenack, and daughters, Theresa (& Charles) and Christine. She is also greatly missed and loved by her grandchildren, Daniel (& Priscila), Evangeline, Michelle (& Lance), Adrian, and great-grandson, Lance Scott. She was born in Miyako Jima and lived as a refugee in Formosa during World War II. George and Yoshiko were married in Okinawa Japan is 1957. She was baptized in St. John's Catholic Church in Paulsboro New Jersey on February 10, 1959. She was a devoted wife and mother, active in church and school activities, St. Jude Shrine and the Ladies of Notre Dame Council Knights of Columbus. Yoshi treasured her family, friends and neighbors enthusiastically and enjoyed spending time with them as much as possible. Her hobbies included crocheting, gardening, ceramics, bingo, baking, camping, bowling, and appreciating the simplest wonders in nature. We are grateful for your prayers. St. Jude has been a faithful friend to Yoshi and the Hollenack family throughout the years. We are grateful for the prayers.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Jane Frances Church 8499 Virginia Avenue PASADENA on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 10 am. Interment New Cathedral Cemetery.
