January 28, 1995 - August 3, 2019

Benjamin Seto of Falls Church, VA died on August 3, 2019.  Ben was at a music festival in Chicago when he suffered a seizure. He was taken to the medical tent where he was given a sedative designed for seizures, and then he went into cardiac arrest. He was given CPR and transported to the emergency room, but they were not able to revive him.

Ben was the beloved son of Edward and Evelyn Seto and the beloved brother of Christopher Seto. He was born on January 28, 1995 in Annapolis, MD. Between his intellect, athleticism, drive, and compassion, it was quickly recognized that he was destined for greatness.

Ben’s enthusiasm for learning and exploration began at Bodkin Elementary and was fostered at  the Chesapeake Science Point Charter School. He then moved on to North County High School where he was not only a scholar athlete, but also heavily engaged in community service. He graduated as valedictorian of his class and continued his education by completing a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Maryland College Park. Soon after, he began his professional career working at Capital One.

Ben developed a passion for adventure and exploring the world. He was known to journey to extraordinary places and no challenge was ever too great for him.

Despite his achievements and competitive nature, he was always humble and a friend to all. He was deeply ingrained within a vast array of social circles, and a whole community has been shaken by his loss.
