Carl Smith, Ii

Carl “Chubby” George Smith II, 69, of Pasadena, MD went on to grace surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for, and loved on April 25, 2019.

Carl was born August 30, 1949 to Carl George Smith Sr. and Eleanor Ireland, their only son.

Carl is survived by his wife Anna of 37 years, his son Kevin and fiancé Tamara, daughter Jamie and husband Frank, and his granddaughter Bailey. Carl was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.

Carl was an avid outdoorsman. He was always excited to be on the water trolling for rockfish, catching crabs or in the tree stand hunting for deer. Rather than let the limitations of his health prevent him from doing what he wanted, he seized each moment as a gift.

Carl was a patient, kind, and fiercely loyal man. He was a role-model to look up to and a friend to anyone who needed help. He will be missed dearly by those who had the opportunity to know him. We thank God for the blessing of the time we spent with him.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Sunday, April 28, 2019 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM. Cremation services to follow. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the SPCA or The National Kidney Foundation
