Cindy Hawkins

Mary Cynthia Hawkins, born May 18, 1954, sadly lost her battle with pancreatic cancer passing away on Tuesday November 29, 2022, with family at her side in comfort and peace at The Hospice of The Chesapeake. Known as Cindy to her friends and family she led an amazing life filled with love, light, and laughter. Cindy was truly on of a kind, as a Manager at multiple assisted living facilities throughout the years she got close with many people whom she delighted in their happiness and grieved their loss. She truly always wanted the very best for everyone she came in contact with. Cindy is survived by her mother Nora Lee Saah, her brothers Mike Saah, Mark Saah and their respective family, and by her children Shannon Adkins, William Hawkins, and Dillon Hawkins. She is also survived by her 3 grandsons who were absolutely the love's of her life Timothy Blake Adkins, Logan Daniel Adkins, and her baby Lennox Ray Adkins. Cindy was an amazing fighter showing strength and perseverance in her everyday life. Yet this past year as she battled this cancer her real colors emerged. She never once complained, she never lost hope, and she fought to remain with her family until her last breath despite the toll it had taken on her body. She lived for her family and amazing friends who stood by her side daily. She will be missed more than words can express by everyone who had the privilege to know her
