Donald Brager, Sr.

Donald D.A. Brager, Sr. beloved husband, brother, father died on December 6, 2019.  Don grew up in Curtis Bay, the youngest of nine children in his family.  He was born to the late Walter and Sophia Brager and is survived by one remaining sibling, Milton Brager, 93.  Upon graduating from Southern High School in Baltimore, Don enlisted in the U. S. Army in where he served abroad (in England) during the Korean War.  Following his military duty assignment, he returned home to Baltimore to marry his sweetheart, Nancy Lehmann Brager.  Married for nearly 65 years, Don and Nancy provided a loving home for their two children, Donald D.A. Brager, Jr. and Leslie A. Brager.  Don also shared a very special bond with his loving daughter-in-law, Anne Brager, who became one of his strongest advocates for his health and well being as he grew older.

Don enjoyed watching his hometown sports teams – the Ravens and the Orioles.  He also enjoyed traveling, old western movies, playing Bingo, and taking an occasional trip to the local casino to make a cash donation.  But most of all, he loved the time he spent with his family and his beloved 4-legged family members – Maddie, Chessie, Briggs, and Coco.

Don is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nancy; his brother Milton; his son Donald Jr. and wife Anne; and his daughter Leslie.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Wednesday, December 11, 2019   3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park Cemetery.
