Pasadena

Helen Marie Klovensky (m. Krisovitch), a long time resident of Pasadena, Maryland and Westinghouse retiree passed away peacefully on April 23, 2020.

Born and raised on a dairy farm in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania to Jacob and Mary Krisovitch, Helen was one of eight children and a beloved sister.  She was the loving wife of the late Robert R. Klovensky Sr and the mother of Robert R. Klovensky Jr (wife Mary), Mary E. Ward (husband Joe), Suzanne Martel (husband Mike), and David M. Klovensky (wife Deanna).  She was the grandmother of Katie, Laura, Joseph, Michael, Robert, Brooke, Jacob, and Kelly, and the great-grandmother of Ember, Amelia, and Wesley.

All of her grandchildren grew up near her, and most summer days she could be found eating ice-cream by her pool, watching them play.  Helen loved to garden, and had a special love for red geraniums and hummingbirds.  She loved to cook and entertain, and would often hold large dinners for family and friends.  She hosted many crab feasts, BBQs, and pool parties.  Helen was warm and inviting, she made guests feel like they were part of the family.

Helen had a strong faith and active prayer life.  She was a prayer chain member, praying for others in their times of need.  She was someone who would do for others without hesitation.  She loved to sing, and was a long time choir member at St. John the Evangelist and Our Lady of the Chesapeake churches.  The impact she left will be felt by many.

Her family would like to thank Assisted Living Well Compassionate Care and Hospice of the Chesapeake for their benevolent care.

Services will be announced after the COVID-19 quarantine.  Donations can be made in her honor to Our Lady of the Chesapeake Church, 8325 Ventnor Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122 or at olchesapeake.org by clicking on Give Central.
