Helen Bernice Taylor, age 81, passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side on October 31, 2021.

She was the beloved wife of Kenneth L. Taylor; devoted mother of Bernard C. Mossman, Mary Helen Himmel (husband Terry) and Denise C. Gee (husband Ed) Stepmother to Kenneth Taylor, Jr., the late Chuck Taylor, Richard Taylor, and Timothy Taylor.

Cherished Grandmother of the late Terry Himmel Jr, Daniel Himmel, Sean Mossman, Shana Daugherty, Samantha Gee, Tabatha Vance, and Carole Gee as well as 14 step grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren that she loved very much.

Also survived by her sister Mary Margaret Wedemeyer, and her special cousins she considered her siblings.

Born and raised in South Baltimore to her late parents Bernard and Helen Tyler. Graduated from Seton High school, and studied at Sisters of Saint Joseph Convent in Chestnut Hill Pennsylvania. She was a devout Catholic and longtime member of Saint Philip Neri Catholic Church.  Retired from a career as a Secretary/Bookkeeper  for the Carpenters Local Union 101. She enjoyed many volunteer activities as a member of the American Legion Post 40 Ladies Auxiliary, and Ferndale Community Club. She will be dearly missed by many.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Thursday November 4, 2021 and Friday November 5, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church on Saturday November 6, 2021 at 9 AM.  Entombment Loudon Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in the name of Helen B. Taylor to EWTN or Mary's House (clickable links below)
