Joseph (Joe) A. Carpenski Sr. passed away peacefully on May 18, 2022 at the age of 76. He was born in Baltimore, MD to Andrew and Mary Carpenski. Joe was a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by 3 children: Jeannie Berkeridge, Karen Torres (Richard), Joseph Jr. (Elissa). Seven grandchildren: Zachary, Ryan, Franci, Sydney, Tristan, Aerial, and Ellie. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren (Thomas, Jackson and Abigail), and many nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his siblings; Martha Kift, Genevieve Bush, Patricia Roberts, Mary Olup, Rita Beck, and James Carpenski.

Joe proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he spent a 40-year career as a certified welder and pipe fitter. Joe was an extremely hard-working man who was well known and respected in his trade.

A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of the Fields (1070 Cecil Ave, Millersville, MD 21108) on June 2nd at 12pm, followed by burial at the Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville (1122 Sunrise Beach Rd, Crownsville, MD 21032).
