Kathleen Davis

January 23, 1958 — July 24, 2022

Pasadena

Kathleen “Kathy” Ann Davis peacefully died on a hot, gorgeous, summer day (just like she liked it) surrounded by her immediate family after a heroic, superhuman, seven and a half year FIGHT with ovarian cancer. The loving daughter of George and Patricia Noon, was born in Baltimore, Maryland at St. Agnes Hospital. She graduated from Lansdowne High School in 1976, and went on to marry Kenneth Davis in 1979 after meeting at the Anchor Inn in Pasadena. She was the most amazing mom to Casey and Valerie aka Wink, and was always pushing them to persevere and succeed. She was a dedicated sports mom, and never missed a school event or game despite working two jobs at UPS and University of Maryland School of Nursing for most of her career. According to her grandchildren, she was “the best Ganmom ever”, and made walking or rolling to their activities to cheer them on with a purse full of jelly bellies and fruit snacks a priority ALWAYS. She was a longtime UPSer and loved her colleagues there like family. She loved to travel, especially to Florida to visit her brother, sister in law and neph-dogs. She loved spending time at “the Shore” with family, as family was paramount to her. She instilled the value of a simple love of family to her children and grandchildren. She had the best and most contagious laugh. Her fiery, stubborn Big Red spirit lives on in all that love her. She is survived by her husband of nearly 43 years, Ken Davis; her daughters Casey Davis and Valerie “Wink” Owings (Sean), four beautiful grandchildren Remy Ann, Grady Joseph, Elly Grace, and Maxwell Wallace; her mother, Patricia Noon; brothers Craig Noon (Michelle) and Brian Noon; niece Elizabeth Noon, and many loving cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, George Noon, and her grandparents. Her sass, her stubborn and defiant nature, her endless love of turtles, and just everything about her will be hugely and immensely missed, and has created a void that can never be filled or replaced. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Maryland Chapter-Big Red Brigade, or, to the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge Friends of the Carr Refuge in Florida
