Kevin Goglia

Kevin Michael Goglia (46)of Pasadena MD, passed away on Memorial Day, May25th, 2020. He is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years and best friend of 28 years Beth, and loving children, Annabella and Ben. Also surviving are his mother Christine Goglia of Reisterstown, MD, his father Tom (Betty) Goglia of Ocean View, DE, his half-sister Rachel (Craig) Brocious, mother-in-law Dottie Cunningham of Parkville, MD; 5 brothers in law, 12 aunts and uncles, 18 cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Michael and Betty Anne (Hlavin) Goglia, Charles and Dorothy (Drummond) Wiberley, Father-in-law Thomas M. Cunningham, Aunts Susan (Armstrong) Goglia, Patricia Wiberley Timberlake , Ellen Ruth Wiberley and cousin Deborah (Chesson) Frye.

Kevin loved his wife and children more than anything in this world.  He was a professed and proud Stay-at-Home dad. A 1992 graduate of Loyola High School, he was a professional chef with a Culinary Degree from L'Academie de Cuisine.

Aside from loving and serving his family, one of his greatest joys was to prepare fine food and watch as his family or guests savored his cuisine. He was a perennial force in the kitchen at the annual St. Jane Francis St. Patrick’s Day Bazaar. As class dad for both Annabella and Ben, he supported numerous school fundraisers and he and Beth hosted many year-end class parties.

He was awarded the St. Vincent De Paul award by the school children of St. Jane Francis School in 2019.

He loved high-energy music from across the generations from Tom Petty to the Struts with some Pearl Jam mixed in. He especially loved live-concerts and would make “road-trips” to enjoy his favorite bands. In his younger days, he played bass guitar and played out with his band mates as the State-of-Mind.

A big sports fan of the Orioles, Capitals, Manchester City and the Ravens, he was often seen manning the barbecue grill at Raven’s tailgates.

He enjoyed action/adventure movies. From the Original Star Wars in 1977 with his Dad to the Rise of Skywalker with his son Ben, if it was Star Wars he was there. Did we mention his dog Chewbacca?

He will always live on in our hearts through his love and kindness. We miss you Kevin !

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Jane Frances Church 8499 Virginia Avenue Pasadena on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment Druid Ridge Cemetery.
