Lois Holleman

Lois Ann Holleman, cherished, beloved, and adored wife of Ronald R. Holleman, passed away the morning of Saturday December 19th, 2020. Inseparable for over 42 years of marriage, Lois remains Ron’s best friend and role model.

Beloved daughter of the late Louise V. Dietz and the late Joseph H. Dietz; mother of Windy R. Lavonis-Daugherty and her husband Wayne, Ronald L. Holleman and his wife Lia; loving grandmother of Mandy Daugherty; sister to Joseph Dietz and June Hornick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her dear friend Shelley Anderson.

Taking after her mother, Lois was an unconditionally selfless and loving person - caring for everyone’s well-being even if she had just met them. For 30 years, Lois was employed in the State of Maryland’s Juvenile Justice Department as an HR supervisor where she was engaged in helping people.

Not a day will pass that Lois’ kind soul will fade from the memories of family and friends.

Due to COVID-19, per Lois and Ron’s decision, a Celebration of Life for family and friends to gather and reminisce about their memories of Lois will be announced at a later date.

The family has asked instead of flowers, please donate in Lois’ memory to St. Jude Children’s® Research Hospital.
