William Calvert, Jr.

January 22, 1943 — November 3, 2021

Pasadena

William was the beloved husband of Geraldine M. Calvert, devoted father of William S. Calvert (wife, Bridget), Karen Carre, Daniel L. Calvert (wife, Crystal) and Lisa M. Calvert. Adored grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Also survived by his sister, Margaret Fox. Admired brother of late sisters, Mary Herron and Bettylou Freeman.
He was born to William and Margaret Calvert and raised in Curtis Bay where he graduated from Southern High School and met and married the love of his life, Jerry. They started a family and moved to Pasadena in 1977 to continue building their family.
William retired from Chemetals and also loved working for the Orioles from Memorial Stadium to Camden Yards. He was very active and belonged to the Country Sidekickers dance group. He loved to talk to people and was a great storyteller. William enjoyed many Maryland traditions, especially picking steamed crabs. His hobbies included bowling, horseshoes, corn hole, dancing, singing and cruising in his historic Corvette. Though there is nothing he loved more than dancing with his wife, Jerry. True love never ends, 60 years ago they said I do and their hearts will never be apart.
